Appointment completes strengthening of Deltaway’s top management begun last year.
Deltaway Energy International, Inc. has announced the appointment of Peter Kendrigan as president, effective May 1. Deltaway specializes in operations and maintenance for waste-to-energy and biomass facilities. Peter reports to Steve Passage, managing director.
Kendrigan served as regional vice president of the Southern Region for Wheelabrator Technologies for seven years, capping an 18-year career with the company. He began his career after graduating from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, joining Maersk, where he rose to chief engineer before joining Wheelabrator. He brings to Deltaway 28 years’ experience in operations and maintenance, at a time when the company is positioning for significant growth geographically and in the range of services it offers. Kendrigan’s appointment completes a top management restructuring that began last year with the appointment of Mr. Passage to the board of directors.
Both Kendrigan and Passage will focus on developing new business opportunities in Europe and North America and increasing the company’s full-service contracts for operations and maintenance of WTE and biomass facilities for facility owners. Francois Screve, the founder of Deltaway, remains chairman of the board, supporting the expansion efforts.
“Peter brings a strong set of complementary skills to our management team as we step up efforts to build on our existing project base and develop new long-term contracts,” says Passage.
“I’m excited to join a team with such depth of international expertise and operational excellence,” Kendrigan adds.
