In July 2018, Deltaway Energy International, Inc. celebrated its fifteenth year in business. As it passes the midpoint toward completing its second decade, the waste-to-energy (WTE) facilities design and management firm continues on a steady growth path.
“We’ve been very fortunate to enjoy outstanding growth in just a decade and a half,” says Francois Screve, who founded the company in 2003. “Dozens of clients worldwide have trusted us to help them turn around and optimize their power facilities. We thank them for placing their trust in us and we continue to appreciate the opportunity to pursue and execute work on their behalf, and for the many new clients who regularly approach us.”
Deltaway’s first project was awarded in 2003 for performance improvement at the City of Long Beach (California) South East Resource Recovery Facility. The company’s success at the project led to a large project to optimize 10 additional power plants nationwide for Veolia Environmental Services. In the intervening years, Deltaway experts have worked on nearly 60 waste-to-energy and biomass power plants, many of them follow-on projects for satisfied clients.
In recent years, Deltaway has broadened the scope of its services, developed and introduced new tools and products, and expanded its geographic reach. In the process, the company has kept pace with evolving technologies and led the industry in innovation.
